Lawyer headshots: how I shoot a whole firm

Most of my lawyer headshots happen in the firm's own office. I bring the lights to you, set up in a spare room, and people come through one at a time.

HOW LONG IT TAKES

Each headshot takes no longer than 10 to 15 minutes. That's enough to get people relaxed and get a picture they're happy with, without keeping them away from their desk for long.

THE SAME LOOK FOR EVERYONE

Keeping the look consistent across the whole firm matters to me. I shoot with three lights and keep the set-up the same all day, so a partner photographed in the morning matches a trainee photographed after lunch. If the firm already has a headshot style, I'll match it. If it wants something new, we talk that through first.

NOT JUST THE LAWYERS

I shoot the whole office: lawyers, clerks, PAs and reception staff. Everyone ends up looking like they belong on the same website.

CHOOSING THE PICTURES

Afterwards, each person gets their own private online gallery to choose from. I then send the finished image to them, or straight to the firm's web supplier.

WHERE I WORK

Amongst others, I've shot for Exchange Chambers. I shoot lawyers in Manchester, London and anywhere else in the UK.

If your firm needs new headshots, have a look at my lawyer headshots page or get in touch. If it’s just you, I do individual headshots in Manchester too.
